ARRIVE
Settle in. Meet the room. Get a sense of what kind of conversation we’re having and what makes it different.
THE THRESHOLD
A free, small-group gathering for people somewhere between who they’ve been and who they’re becoming.
Sometimes an old version of your life, identity, worldview, relationship, career, or sense of self stops fitting before you know what comes next. The Threshold is a place to spend some time there, without rushing to turn uncertainty into an answer.

The first gathering is forming now.
THE SPACE BETWEEN
Maybe something ended. Maybe nothing dramatic happened at all. You just realized the way you’ve been doing something doesn’t feel like yours anymore.
Career. Religion. Relationships. Identity. Creativity. Parenthood. Purpose. The way you live. The way you understand yourself.
The circumstances can be completely different. The feeling underneath them is often strangely similar:
I know I’m not where I was.
I’m just not sure where I’m going yet.
THE GATHERING
The Threshold is a small group of people sitting together for a couple of hours and talking honestly about whatever is changing.
I’ll bring questions, prompts, and a few useful frameworks. I’ll help notice patterns, connect threads, and keep the conversation moving.
But there isn’t a lesson you’re supposed to learn or a conclusion you’re supposed to reach.
Sometimes clarity means knowing what to do.
Sometimes clarity is finally understanding what you’re actually asking.
WHAT HAPPENS
Settle in. Meet the room. Get a sense of what kind of conversation we’re having and what makes it different.
Spend a little time noticing what feels finished, what still has a grip on you, what’s pulling at you, and what you don’t know yet.
Talk. Listen. Ask questions. Follow threads. Notice patterns across experiences that may look completely unrelated on the surface.
See what became clearer, not because somebody solved it for you, but because you finally had enough room to hear yourself think.
A pattern. A question. A possibility. Better language. More permission to not know yet. Whatever actually emerged.
No homework. No forced action plan.
ONE RULE CHANGES A LOT
Most rooms teach us to respond to someone’s uncertainty by trying to fix it.
The Threshold works differently.
Instead of immediately saying, “Here’s what you should do,” we get curious first.
Ask another question. Reflect something you heard. Notice a contradiction. Wonder out loud. Offer a perspective only when it’s wanted.
Nobody in the room is the authority on somebody else’s life.
It’s just a deliberately designed room for honest exploration with other people who are somewhere in the middle of becoming.
MY JOB IN THE ROOM
I’m good at listening to someone talk, noticing the thing underneath the thing, and catching connections that can be hard to see from inside your own experience.
So I’ll host the room, ask questions, reflect patterns, occasionally offer a framework or perspective, and make sure everybody has space to actually participate.
Sometimes I may hear something and say, “I think there’s a pattern here. Want to hear it?”
That’s about as authoritative as I want to get.
My interpretation is an invitation, not a verdict.More about me →
NO TRANSFORMATION GUARANTEED
Clarity can also look like finally understanding the question.
You might leave with better language for what you’re experiencing.
A pattern you hadn’t noticed.
A question worth carrying for a while.
Permission to stop forcing an answer.
Or simply the realization that other people are standing in their own versions of the same strange in-between.
THE FIRST THRESHOLD
I’m intentionally keeping the first gathering small. Once there are enough interested people, I’ll reach out with a few possible dates and choose one that works for the group.
